Are you looking for a way to engage your church in orphan care but not sure where to start? We think Orphan Sunday is a great option!
Developed by our friends at the Christian Alliance for Orphans, Orphan Sunday is the day where Christians all over the world unite to stand for the orphan. Each event is locally-led. Sermons and small groups, concerts and prayer gatherings, shared meals and youth activities—each rousing believers with God’s call to care for the orphan, and what we can do in response. This year’s Orphan Sunday will take place November 4th, 2012, with literally thousands of events echo across America and around the globe, all sharing a single goal: that God’s great love for the orphan will find echo in our lives as well. Orphan Sunday is your opportunity to rouse church, community and friends to God’s call to care for the orphan.
For this year’s Orphan Sunday, Unthinkable is really excited to offer our film Faultless: The American Orphan as a potential resource for you to use for your event! We have packages available for churches of all sizes and would love to work with you to help inspire and equip your community of faith to serve the fatherless. If you are interested in using Faultless on Orphan Sunday, click here to learn about our available packages.
While we would love for you to utilize our film for your event, our primary hope is that you would join your church in some capacity on November 4th as this “burgeoning orphan care movement” grows to new heights!
